Re: Posing
Mon, February 25, 2008 - 5:01 AMI think that my favorite shooting situation is when I'm doing a shoot and for whatever reason, everything falls into place perfectly. The light is perfect, the background, ideal, and when everyone has a great time. Unfortunately, those times pass too quickly for my tastes, but I treasure them. The shoot is usually a success when this happens and everyone goes home happy.

The best images I get are from shoots that aren’t too planned. I did a shoot a week ago that started outdoors and finished in my home. The indoor shots turned out great…she was comfortable and didn’t have a problem experimenting with different expressions. -

Mon, February 25, 2008 - 8:13 PMmy best shots are candid. The best posed shots happen when the subjects are either in performance mode, or full on showin' da love. -

Fri, February 29, 2008 - 1:04 PMFor locations, I like the outdoors. The best shots seem to be... "okay, were done... let's do something fun"
the unplanned stuff

Fri, February 29, 2008 - 2:32 PMUnless it is a specific pose I want I like to let the model be themselves indoor or out, Throw on some rocking tunes and just let them be them

Re: Posing
Sun, March 16, 2008 - 11:26 AMIn a full shoot, the first 1/3 of the pix are usually throw-aways. The next 2/3 are good. Then somehow when we think we are done, have a break, have a beverage, things suddenly get magic and somehow that time after you think you are done the best things seem to come out.
